Balloon twisting is a great tool to enable interaction with people in the marketplace which may lead to opportunities to engage them with the gospel of Christ. There are two different formats to set up a balloon twisting kiosk... static and mobile. Each has advantages and disadvantages. The nature of the event and space requirements for the kiosk and the skill of the balloon twister will decide which format should be used:

Static

In a static kiosk, several twisters will stand behind a common work table under the canopy and crank out hundreds of balloon designs. This will bring a smile to the greatest number of children. This works in an evangelistic kiosk because it draws parents to the prayer booth and lead generation table (ie, a free drawing used to gather contact information). With this format, the balloon twister draws people in so that others can engage in ministry who are working in the attached or adjacent prayer kiosk.

Mobile

There will be times when a balloon twister will work alone. This may be near our outreach kiosk or completely solo. In this case, we will use our most skilled balloon twisters with a repertoire of designs. This will give you time to interact with children and their parents. Because the prayer booth may not be near, it is important to hand out church invite cards and any other appropriate evangelistic tracts. In addition to a balloon pump, a mobile twister will need a well supplied balloon busker apron or equivalent.
